New Tandem joins the vindication in World Breast Cancer Day

As every year, this 19th of October, World Breast Cancer Day has been celebrated. A day to vindicate the importance of this cause to put an end to a disease many women suffer worldwide.

The breast one is the most frequent kind of tumor among occidental women. Only in Spain, 33,307 breast cancer cases were diagnosed in 2019. And this high percentage of overcome cases of the disease is not an excuse to stop working. The only possible way is to change the current cipher of around 90% of overcome cases to a 100%.

We collaborate with Cris Against Cancer

Associations like Cris (Cancer Research Innovation Spain) Cancer Foundation, work towards the investigation with the purpose of discovering new treatments. At New Tandem, we collaborate with this foundation, so very soon all kinds of cancer will be a problem of the past. This World Breast Cancer Day week we focus especially in the breast one. We are proud that Cris Cancer Foundation is carrying out encouraging trials in immunotherapy for the most aggresive breast cancer cases. Apart from investigation, information and support are crucial for the patients. To feel informed and accompanied in such hard moments is essential.

Periodic donations to NGOs, our ninth SDG in 2020

At New Tandem we constantly have in mind that our duty is to leave a positive mark in our society. Periodic collaborations we donate to NGOs such as Cris Cancer Foundation, Kivu Avanza or SOS Children’s Villages are just a matter of coherence. Coherence derived from the idea that we all share a responsibility, not just as a company, but also as human beings. This is our ninth SDG for this year 2020. One more reason for our employees to be proud of seeing their names linked to New Tandem. And also for our clients to choose us as their partners in their human resources activity.
